Project description: 

Analysis of theoretical models of protein formation in cellular systems that couple to the membrane dynamics through mechano-chemical coupling. Applications to the design of life-like functionality of minimal membrane-protein systems (artificial cells).

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of theoretical soft matter and biological physics and excellent skills in numerical implementation of partial differential equations and machine learning methods.
  • Proficiency in English (both written and spoken).
