FACULTY OPENING FOR HUMAN ANATOMY AND PHYSIOLOGY AT THE SINGAPORE INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY

The Singapore Institute of Technology (SIT) is Singapore’s first University of Applied Learning, offering industry-relevant degree programmes that prepare its graduates to be work- and future-ready professionals. Applicants should possess:

  1. A PhD in Anatomy, Physiology or equivalent medical/science degree from a reputable university
  2. Experience in developing and delivering curricula using innovative methods.
  3. Extensive professional experience in the discipline.
  4. Good track record in obtaining research grants and in publications.
  5. Strong commitment to teamwork and student support.

The appointee will be expected to:

  1. Develop and teach Anatomy and/or Physiology modules at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level, as well as other modules related to the applicant’s area(s) of expertise.
  2. Undertake funded clinical research and scholarly activities.
  3. Supervise students in applied learning and research activities.
  4. Participate in student advising
  5. Manage anatomy and/or other related laboratory operations

The appointee will also be provided with paid leave to undertake consultancy work with the healthcare industry and/or spend time attached with the industry.
