The Developmental Neurobiology group located in Brussels, Belgium is seeking a highly motivated graduate student with interest in developmental neurobiology to perform a PhD.
The main purpose of our research is to understand the mechanisms underlying the development and evolution of the nervous system, with a particular emphasis on the role of cell polarity and cytoskeleton. We use several molecular and cellular methodologies, including embryonic stem cells, transgenic mice, in utero electroporation, immunofluorescence, and live imaging.
We offer an international environment with strong focus on research and advanced training in neuroscience.
Applicants must have a master degree in neuroscience, biology, bioengineering or related fields. They should be fluent in English and have a competitive curriculum vitae. The successful candidate will receive a 1-year contract (renewable), and will apply to competitive PhD fellowships .
