Within the University, the Luxembourg Centre for Systems Biomedicine (LCSB) is a highly interdisciplinary research centre (IC), integrating experimental biology and computational biology approaches in order to develop the foundation of a future predictive, preventive and personalized medicine.
Your Role...
The Environmental Cheminformatics (ECI) Research Group at LCSB is seeking a Research and Development Specialist to support the growing number of projects in the group. The initial focus will be carrying out non-targeted chemical data analysis (potentially with some wet lab experience) on projects related to the metabolome of mid-brain organoids from pluripotent stem cells of Parkinson’s disease patients, as well as other existing exposure projects on model organisms such as zebrafish, yeast and/or C. elegans. The focal topic of the work will shift throughout the contract, depending on project timelines. The R&D Specialist will work closely with both the analytical and computational group members at ECI.
