The UCAM-SENS unit is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral researchers with proven expertise in electrochemistry applied to sensing devices. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in a dynamic and internationally recognized scientific unit.

UCAM-SENS is a leading research unit dedicated to digital transformation in healthcare, sports, food, and environmental monitoring through advanced (bio)chemical sensing, combining electrochemistry and imaging technologies.

Led by Prof. María Cuartero (ERC Fellow) and Prof. Gaston Crespo, UCAM-SENS operates within HiTech, a multicultural and multidisciplinary research incubator that fosters innovation and collaboration.

Position Requirements

Required Expertise

Candidates must demonstrate strong experience in:
✔ Fundamental and applied electrochemistry
✔ Electroanalytical sensing devices
✔ Modelling of electrochemical systems

Qualifications

✔ PhD in Chemistry, Engineering Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Nanotechnology, or a related field.
✔ Proven research track record, including publications and/or projects in the areas listed above (attach documents to the application).
✔ Advanced English proficiency (C1 level or higher).
