This position is intended for candidates wishing to obtain a PhD in Computer Science.
The work has two components: a research activity in computer science on the one hand, and on the other hand supervision of practical work and exercise sessions (approximately 300 hours per year) for courses from the program in computer science or bioinformatics. Research will be done under the supervision a professor from the Department. The candidate must have made prior contact in this regard with one of the professors in the Department. The Computer Science Department of the Faculty of Sciences conducts cutting-edge research in computer science, both theoretical and applied. Researchers are in contact with the international research community in their field.
The assistant position provides a rich experience in the field of higher education, and also constitutes privileged access to the PhD. The salary conditions are competitive.
A 120-credit Master degree in Computer Sciences, and satisfy entry requirements for the PhD.
Assistants must pursue research towards a PhD degree, applications from candidates who already hold a PhD will therefore not be considered.
Exercises and personal works for different computer science courses organized in the Bachelor and Master programs in Computer Science and/or the Computer Science courses of the Master program in Bioinformatics and Modelling.
