Your Responsibilities

• Independent teaching of courses in the Bachelor's/Master's Programme Subject Pyschology/Philosophy and Ethics as well as in the Bachelor/Master Programme Philosophy with an average of 8 weekly semester hours as well as participation in teaching and examination tasks of the department
• Participation in the conception of new academic teaching methods and courses
• Student support and supervision
• Independent research and publication activity in the area of teaching theory in ethics and philosophy
• Involvement in existing research projects of the department
• Participation in organizational and administrative tasks as well as in evaluation measures

Your Profile

• Completed doctorate/PhD in the field of didactics of ethics and/or philosophy
• Experience in teaching at university level
• Experience in the context of subject didactics regarding teaching in schools, especially in the introduction of the teaching degree in ethics (preferred)
• Excellent knowledge of written and spoken German and English
• Very good IT skills and pleasure in using digital tools in the field of virtual teaching
• Social competence and enjoyment of working with students
• Independent and autonomous working style
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills
• Experience in teaching at high school level
• Interest in further developing ethics as a subject

We offer an annual gross salary of € 69,060.59 for a fulltime position.
