Your Responsibilities
- Independent and co-operative research in the field of exercise therapy and sports physiology for people with cardiometabolic diseases
- Support in training therapy with a focus on cardiometabolic diseases at the Training and Diagnostics Centre (TDZ) of the Department of Human Movement Sciences, Sport and Health
- Participation in research projects and their initiation
- Organising courses and supervising students
- Participation in university self-administration and organisational tasks of the department
Your Profile
- Completed medical studies
- Specialist in paediatrics and additive subject endocrinology and diabetology
- Diploma in nutritional medicine and rehabilitation medicine
- Good Clinical Practice (GCP) certificate
- Very good knowledge of English required
- Very good knowledge of German (desirable)
- Very good knowledge of analysing clinical data
- Scientific interest in exercise therapy for people with cardiometabolic diseases
- Very good knowledge of statistics (desirable)
- Experience in one of the following areas is desirable: automated insulin delivery (AID) systems, continuous glucose monitoring (CGM), or the pharmacokinetics/pharmacodynamics of exogenous insulins
- Experience in the design and implementation of clinical research projects with a focus on targeted sports interventions
- Ability to conduct independent research work
- Strong teamwork and organisational skills
- High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
- Personal and social skills in working in international and interdisciplinary teams

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 69.060,60 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
