Your Responsibilities

• Writing a dissertation in the field of history didactics
• Conceptualization and delivery of courses in the Bachelor's degree program in the field of history didactics
• Participation in research in the field of history didactics; content-related and administrative support in the implementation of publication projects, conferences, events and research projects
• Collaboration in organizational and administrative tasks of the Department of History Didactics, in particular science communications and public relations
• Student support
• Collaboration on organizational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures

Your Profile

• Completed diploma or master's degree in the field of a teacher training program (diploma/master's degree) for History, Social Studies and Civic Education
• Excellent written and spoken German and English skills
• One other living foreign language (desirable)
• Very good IT skills and social media knowledge (desirable)
• High level of commitment and motivation for scientific work
• Personal responsibility and ability to cooperate
• Strong teamwork and organizational skills

• Complete proof of completion of the degree program required in the call for applications
• Proof of the language skills, required in the curriculum, if the doctoral programme is not completed in the first language (please note that an admission is required). For a doctorate in History within the doctoral programme at the Faculty of Humanities a language certificate in German or English on a C1 Level (CEFR C1) is required.

We offer an annual gross salary of € 52,007.20 for a fulltime position.
