Your Responsibilities

  • Writing a dissertation in the field of sports science with a focus on training interventions in resistance, flexibility, or endurance training using modern biomechanical and physiological assessment methods.
  • Participation in research projects within the working group
  • Publication and presentation activities
  • Teaching courses (including, if applicable, practical sports courses) and supervising students
  • Participation in academic self-administration and organizational tasks of the institute

Your Profile

  • Completed diploma or master’s degree in sport science or a related field
  • Interest in research in the areas of flexibility training, resistance training, and/or endurance training
  • Experience with the following measurement systems is an advantage: 3D kinematics, dynamometry, electromyography, ultrasound techniques, and spirometry
  • Programming skills desirable (e.g., MATLAB)
  • English proficiency at C1 level
  • Ability to work independently in a scientific context and to engage in scientific discussion
  • Initial experience in publishing within the fields of training and movement science is an advantage
  • Experience in the design and/or implementation of research projects is desirable
  • Strong teamwork and organizational skills

We offer an annual gross salary of at least € 52.865,40 for a fulltime position. An overpayment based on qualification and experience is possible.
