Université de Franche-Comté (UFC)

It is present in two major hubs, one in Besançon, the other in northern Franche-Comté (Belfort-Montbéliard) as well as on two other sites: Vesoul and Lons-le-Saunier.

It has around 2,500 staff and 30,000 learners (including trainees), of which 24,000 have student status. It hosts 128 different nationalities.

It offers a wide choice of courses with all levels of European diplomas, but also university diplomas and à la carte training for professionals. It is a pioneer in the quality of training. The content of the lessons given in the establishment are closely linked to the research activities carried out in the laboratories. One of the strong axes of the policy of the University of Franche-Comté is the link between training, research and innovation.

The University of Franche-Comté also has a lot to offer in terms of leisure, sports, culture and community life. She is one of the founding members of the community of universities and establishments (COMUE) Université Bourgogne-Franche-Comté (UBFC).
