The University of Wuppertal invites applications for a professorship in randomised algorithms. The position will be based in the School of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. We are looking for an outstanding personality who will continuously develop this area in research and teaching.
Through the institutes IZMD (Interdisciplinary Centre for Machine Learning and Data Analytics), IMACM (Institute for Mathematical Modelling, Analysis and Computational Mathematics), PHI (Port-Hamiltonian Institute), and the theoretical particle physics group we offer an excellent environment for challenging research projects and collaborations.

You are able to demonstrate your qualification for the position by international, peer-reviewed journal and highly-ranked conference publications, relevant teaching experience, international collaborations, and successful acquisition of third-party funding. Your contributions cover the theoretical analysis of algorithms as well as their implementation in the context of – potentially interdisciplinary – applications. Please enclose relevant certificates and supporting documents with your application.
