The Johann Wolfgang Goethe University Frankfurt am Main is one of the largest universities in Germany with around 41,000 students and with about 5,800 employees. The Integrated Research Training Group (IRTG) of the Collaborative Research Center 1507 “Membrane-associated Protein Assemblies, Machineries, and Supercomplexes” (CRC 1507) at Goethe University Frankfurt offers as soon as possible several positions of
for a limited period of four years. The salary grade is based on the job characteristics of the collective agreement applicable to Goethe University (TV-G-U) or to the participating institutions.
In our collaborative research center, 19 project leaders and around 100 employees work on the mechanistic elucidation of protein complexes and machineries at cell membranes, thus making pioneering contributions to biomedicine and the treatment of diseases. The Integrated Research Training Group, as part of the CRC 1507, is dedicated to scientifically educate PhD students and to accompany them on their way to a successful PhD thesis.
